Our story

Hi there! I’m an Icelandic mother living in South Carolina with my two amazing teenage daughters. What started as a small fundraiser for one volleyball tournament turned into something truly special.

Our little baking project went better than we ever imagined. The kindness and support from friends, neighbors, and even strangers is now helping my younger daughter get to participate in volleyball tournaments and adding to a college fund for my older daughter.

Now, I’ve created this page to continue baking and sharing the traditional Icelandic treats we love so much such as; kleinur, ástarpungar, rúgbrauð, jólakökur, marmarakaka, and many more. Every batch is shipped fresh, made from scratch, with true Icelandic recipes and a lot of love.

What began as a way to support my daughters has grown into something bigger, a way to share a piece of home and a bit of sweetness with others. Thank you for being part of our story and the continued support for my daughters. ❤️

Our ingredients

I use a mix of tried and tested quality ingredients and it’s important to me that the end product feels familiar and reminds me of home.

Eggs and honey are bought from a small town in South Carolina while other special ingredients like jam, syrup and vanilla sugar are resourced straight from Iceland.

I am constantly trying new ingredients that stay true to the old Icelandic recipes while adding a touch of South Carolina flair.
